Monday, Gail led several projects illustrating atoms and electrons. The kids built models of atoms and molecules using marshmallows, grapes, toothpicks, peanut butter, etc. Then they made some "slime" which showed the way molecules connect, and they also saw that the iron added in cereal actually reacts to a magnet.

Today, we are going bowling with WILC - should be fun exercise and good social time.
