book discussion, owl pellet dissection

Monday, we went to the Raptor Center and viewed the birds, heard a presentation on raptors, and dissected owl pellets. Both boys were very enthusiastic about the dissection.

Afterward, we came here to have a book discussion of Guardians of Ga'Hoole, which was successful and interesting. Emma Bengson has chosen the next book, which will be Time Cat.
