books read recently

I don't have time to say a lot about these, but both were quite good. Water for Elephants had a very satisfying surprising-ish ending, but The Road was profound and beautifully written, although the constant stream of incomplete sentences was very distracting at first. I got over it and had a hard time putting it down after that.
